One day while nursing, Hyrum started playing music in another room. Claire started bouncing around, trying to continue to nurse, then she popped off and said "mommy, I have to go dance to the music!" and ran off. She is such a dancer!
I was showing her pictures on the computer and she saw a picture of herself and got so excited and shouted "It's cousin Claire! I need to go get my blue dress so we can match and be best friends! Look! It's cousin daddy!" Hahaha, I guess she has so many cousins, that's all we show her on the computer. She also says she's best friends with anyone that is matching her. She loves to match.
Claire got a finger prick at the pediatrician and was completely FASCINATED with the process. She didn't cry one, but tried to crane her head to get a better look at what the nurse was doing. Claire talked about the blood "What's THAT mommy!?! Blood? Ooooh. Blood." She talked about the color of the blood, the tube the blood was going into, the way nurse was squeezing and poking her finger to get more out. It was hilarious. Only at the very end did she get uncomfortable sp I nursed her and she was fine. The nurse was cracking up the whole time, and said that this was the first time she's ever had that reaction!
Claire loves to play with pantyliners and bandaids. She unwraps them and sticks them to anything and everything. She made herself kneepads with the pantyliners once!
I went to the dentist a few months ago, and when we got home I asked Claire if she wanted to go to the park and then go eat some ice cream. She started crying and saying "No, I want to go to the dentist! I don't want fries and ice cream and to go to the park!" She loved watching me get my teeth cleaned. We did not leave the house again that day, she absolutely did not want to do anything fun!

Hyrum was laying on the couch and Claire walked up to him and said, "I have boobs like daddy!"
My new ward does tons of fun stuff, we have book club every month and a recipe night every month. So Claire is now used to Hyrum putting her to bed. One night I came home late after one of these meetings and Claire woke up went I went to bed. She popped up wide awake and said "Mommy! You came home! Yours missed me? Yours love me? Snuggle me?" Then we cuddled and she went right back to sleep. I love my little snugglebug.
Claire told me one day "Mommy, daddy loves me! He snuggle me!"
While taking some packages out to the mailbox one day, Claire picked one up and started running away yelling, "No! It's my e-mail!"
Claire loves to match and sometimes will only get dressed if she matches me or Hyrum. She also picks out her own clothes, and her underwear HAS to match her shirt. She had a purple day recently. She wore purple underwear, purple pants, a purple shirt, and purple boot and carried around her purple bear.
She goes months now between wetting the bed. She wakes herself up and tells us if she has to pee. She is also an awesome sleeper (finally), but now she wakes up so early!
I asked Claire one day what she wanted for breakfast. Me: "Eggs, banana, popsicle?" Claire: "Umm, olives." She is so her father's daughter!
Claire loves to eat butter. We have to hide it from her because she'll find it anywhere in the fridge and just start eating a stick. Blech.
Back in October, Claire counted to 25 only skipping 15 and 19. She sometimes calls 19 "eleventeen". She has occasionally counted by 10s (don't know where she learned that) and can now count objects correctly (I've seen her do up to 5).
Claire loves to color, especially "for mommy" or "for daddy". The other day, she got some paper and a pen and said, "Mommy, I'm going to draw a circle for you!" and drew a whole bunch of circles. She gets so excited and proud of herself. She also tells me, "Mommy, I'm so proud of you" for no reason.
Claire gives the sweetest hugs and kisses. She accidentally bonked my head with hers and said, "Oops, sorry mommy! (kissed my head) Now it's all better! Kiss my head, mommy?" She also thinks it is hilarious to lick me.
Claire's first pony ride on a horse named Strawberry. She still talks about it, and calls all horses "strawberry".

Claire ran up to this thing so fast I didn't have time to stop her. Parents were rescuing much older kids, but Claire just took her time and did it all herself.
She has to swing before getting out of the car. By herself, everything is always "do it myself!"
I love doing her hair, I just wish she would let me do it more often!

We cleaned the church for the month of September, so Claire hung out in a high council room. Yay for church wifi and netflix!

I took this picture because it was unusual for them to fall asleep like this, then an hour later she woke up with croup :( Luckily, it was only one night of really being sick. You can see her beanie baby bear next to her. She picks at least one to go to sleep with every night, and she plays with her bears all day. She loves them so much. The last few days she's been taking a bouncy ball to bed; I kind of love her little quirks.
I came into the room after I heard her say "Good coloring everyone!" She had been watching a lot of Dora.

Claire had her first playdate without me in November! She went to her friend McKinley's house, and a few days later we switched and she came to play at our house. We live very close and her mom is so nice, and the girls love to play!
Claire did this while Hyrum sat less than 10 feet away.
