Pumpkin Patches and Halloween

We went to two pumpkin patches this year, once with Momo and once with some friends from the ward.

I helped my mom make some Halloween cupcakes and juice boxes
Claire LOVED painting her pumpkin.

The second patch with friends. These "cows" had a rubber udder that was filled with water and the kids could "milk the cow". They all loved it.

No one wanted to cooperate for a happy little picture in front of the pumpkins. They had to have snack bags just to sit still.

I found a lima bean in Claire's underwear several hours later.
My little Robot! Claire is obsessed with robots, and Hyrum and I had a lot of fun making her costume. She actually wore the hate for a really long time, but she kept getting worried that it was falling off. The water bottle on top had a glowstick and tin foil in it.

The morning of Halloween, I was trying to get her ready for music and I knew the kids were going to wear costumes. She did NOT want to put on her costume, and kept saying she wanted to wear a blue dress. She finally picked up a page torn from her "Pat the Bunny" book and said, "I want a blue dress like HER!" So she dressed as Judy from the book, even letting me put a blue flower in her hair.

Halloween night, back in her robot costume. We put candy in that robot's mouth while we were out trick-or-treating.
It was a very warm night, so after a dozen houses, we had circled back home and we were all hot and tired. Claire ripped off her clothes, we got some water, and I asked if she wanted to go back out in her bathing suit. She happily put on her suit, along with wings and a tiara, and we went trick-or-treating for a second time as a princess fairy ballerina.

Her first time Trick-or-Treating, she loved it and had so much fun! She only got to eat one little tootsie roll, but she didn't really care, she just liked the knocking, talking to people, and getting stuff.
