Nursing a toddler creates some of the sweetest moments. She loves it so much. Occasionally, Claire will pop off to give my boob kisses; my heart melts. She also falls asleep now lying on top of me every night, nursing. She goes to sleep very easily, but I just want to stay there and let her sleep on me every second I can. I don't have that kind of time, but I know it won't last that much longer and want to hold on to those sweet snuggles. She has also recently started refusing to nurse with anything covering my breast. It doesn't matter if it's no where near her face, if my shirt is covering my boob she often unlatches and screams and pulls at my shirt until I pull it out over the top of my shirt. She is definitely opinionated. I love my little stinker!

15 Months
This sweet little thing has definitely turned into a most opinionated toddler.
Most of the time, I am hard pressed to even get this many clothes on her. She especially hates pants. However, she will usually wear a skirt and babylegs. If I tell her she has to get dressed because we are going somewhere, then she often complies.
Oh, she is a girl. She loves her baby and jewelry and trying on shoes and brushing hair. She also loves cars and water and her rocking horse and electronics.
She copies us like crazy. It is so stinkin' cute.
We recently celebrated the day that we officially started our family (6 year wedding anniversary!) so we had a family picnic at Liberty Park. We went on a bike ride and played at the playground.

Fun was had by all!

The best family picture we got
Back to Claire- she is such a little poser. I love this smile. She usually does this whenever a camera comes out.
Oh yeah, hates clothes, remember? Also despises having a diaper change. So much that I've started letting her run around naked. She was pantsless for around 8 hours today and only peed on the floor once. And she told me about it when she started going. And then helped clean up.

Silly little smiles.
One of my favorite things lately is how she pretends. She feeds her baby and gives her a sippy cup and gives her to me to nurse. She also understands pretty much everything we say, and if she wants, will follow "commands". I am constantly amazed by the things she does and knows!

Claire loves hats. A couple of times a week we will spend 30 minutes of hat changes. She puts my hat on her, Hyrum's hat on me, and then we switch. Sometimes we each wear two hats. She loves putting my baseball hat on backwards, so cute.
Claire loves her bedtime routine. After reading her quiet book and kissing all her animals goodnight, she'll climb up on the bed and fold her arms and wait for us. We never forget to say a prayer anymore! At the "Amen" she throws herself backwards onto the bed and says "AHH!"
She gives us a million kisses a day. She even gives them to strangers now! She had become the most social little butterfly. Claire will even cry sometimes if Hyrum or I try to take her away from someone random (a girl at church, a woman on the plane, my sister). After an initial warm-up period, she will go to almost anyone but usually picks a favorite in the crowd. At church, I feel like I might as well bring a puppy to run loose. Though luckily she gives those giant smiles that no one can resist so I think most people don't mind the chaos.

Yeah, I'm not surprised she's a nudist after helping you with diaper changes while I was there. I don't know how you could do that by yourself! Those toddlers are good at twisters and shrieking their way out of wrestling holds.
that kiss me booty diaper is a RIOT! love it!
She's a cutie patootie. I love your long posts.
