Mission Delores Park

During the summer, a group of women (mostly from my ward, plus lots that used to be in the ward but keep coming back because it's awesome) do "field trips" every Wednesday to fun places around the Bay. One day we went to Mission Delores Park in the city. It was so much fun! My friend Heather and I rode BART because driving in SF gives us anxiety, but everyone else carpooled. Her son Jacob, is one of Claire's best friends!

We also walked over to Bi-Rite Creamery for some awesome, homemade ice cream and popsicles. When we decided to head over from the park, I told Claire and she was ready to leave right away, but I told her we had to get everybody together first. She started wondering around, finding her friends and grabbing their arms, saying, "Everybody! Let's Go! We need to go get ice cream!" No one was really paying attention to her, so then she's just standing there with her arms out, yelling, "Everybody! Get. In. Your. Strollers!"

While we were eating our ice cream, a photographer was doing an engagement shoot and offered to snap a few pics of the kids. I love how it turned it out, so cute! I love the one with Claire looking at Nora (who is crying because her ice cream got thrown away when she told her mom she was done).

Waving to the firetruck that drove by.
 Ordering ice cream from Elliot

 Beautiful day in the city!
Jammed into BART on the way home

LOL at the "everybody....get.in.your.strollers" story. Love that story. I LOVE the Bi-rite pictures and that park looks amazing. Let's take claire there one day soon. We can take BART too....or I can drive. It doesn't give me anxiety.
