Fun with MoMo

 Back in July, Claire and I had a fun day hanging out with my mom at the mall. Claire wanted to try on shoes too!

 

At the shoe store, Claire picked out a new favorite pair (she's almost worn out her gold sparkle shoes 2 months later) and while my mom and I were putting all the others back, she took them to the register. Claire looked up expectantly at the cashier and said sweetly, "I'd like to buy these shoes, please." Claire gestured to us about 15 feet away and continued, "My mommy and MoMo helped me pick them out." The girl just stood there, looked a little shocked and didn't know what to do. Cracking up, I walked over there and gave Claire a credit card to pay with (Claire loved to buy things herself).

 She even loves pretend roller coasters!

 As we were leaving my mom's house that night, I got Claire in her jammies since I knew she'd fall asleep in the car. Claire pushed me out the door, saying, "Just go away mom, I'm going to have a sleepover at MoMo's house," but mommy wasn't quite ready for that!
