We had to buy her new jammies since her cousins are in 2T/3T still and we weren't going to be getting hand-me-downs any time soon! We've been so lucky that we've hardly had to buy her any clothes, so it was fun picking them out :)

She loves to wear Hyrum's yellow hat and she loves to read her books. Oh, and that little pink make-up bag? Claire LOVES make-up. Kind of weird since I rarely wear it, but it's so cute how she likes me to pretend to put mascara on her eyes (I don't take the lid off) or she'll use the brush on my face.
Claire loves to color. This is one of her latest masterpieces.
One of the games Claire likes to play is where she grabs my finger, and says "leader leader leader". Then I sing the "Following the leader" song and she leads me around the house giggling. She also loves ring around the rosie, anything that is fast or will make her dizzy (including putting her in a blanket and swinging it), and songs like wheels on the bus or itsy bitsy spider. She loves forts of all shapes and sizes. Claire has also started running upstairs into the bathroom and hiding quietly behind the shower curtain. It's so funny to look into the dark bathroom and see her little feet sticking out and her being completely still.
Claire's favorite book right now is a little "The Christmas Story" board book. We read it every night before bed (sometimes more than once). She still loves to read anything and everything. Hyrum got me a book for Christmas that I read in a little over a week. I think because I had it with me so often, Claire likes to say "Book! Mommy." while nodding her little head, and then carries it everywhere with her. She even took it to her music class one day.
Our little parrot talks like crazy, but doesn't really use sentences yet. Some of my favorite words that she says
Some more favorite words and an example of why we have a hard time taking pictures.
She makes so many sounds (animal and otherwise), snorting for pigs and vroom vroom for cars are the newest. She can also sign "I love you" and says it on her own sometimes. She's very sweet with saying thank you (she signs and says it at the same time) and please.
Around 18 months I started partially night weaning her (basically she goes to sleep without nursing and doesn't nurse for the first 6ish hours). She's finally starting to sleep a little better but we have occasional rough nights. The other night she cried at 2 am and I went in and lay next to her (I was still awake, she sleeps in our bed/the sidecar crib). She immediately stopped crying and said "mmm?" which means she wants a kiss. So, I gave her a kiss, then she said "hug?" and wrapped her little arms around my neck and gave me a hug. Then she just went back to sleep. While it will be nice when she sleeps all night long one day, I will miss those sweet little moments and snuggles. She LOVES to nurse, and calls it na-na or na-nee. I love being her mom.

The picture with Hyrum's hat on is funny and the picture right about that is SOOOOO sweet and CUTE. I love all in info. What a sweet, chatty girl. I miss my claire bear.
She is SOO cute! I too, love that yellow hat on her! My Claire is also a makeup junkie and is abnormally talented with it these days... :)
So cute!!! I can't believe she talks so much, it's crazy. You should ask her to say raspberry. I can remember when Cade was born and Mom told Tripp that Brooke could say raspberry when she was 18 months and Tripp couldn't believe it, lol. Claire takes after her aunty!
The yellow hat picture is hilarious and I bet it's hysterical to see her in the bathroom like that!
