We went on a walk up the canyon a few weeks ago. It was lots of fun!

She looks so big! Except when we are around older kids, then she looks so tiny to me. She's still my itty bitty baby.
Found her like this one night. She likes to take over the whole bed!
Claire loves playing with water, and it's so funny to watch her drink out of the hose. She usually ends up just getting water in her face.

My funny girl. I love how she really knows what is funny and likes to pretend. She rubs in pretend sunscreen and lotion on her leg or on us. She adores playing chase games or hiding or being scared.

Hyrum plays a game with her now where he hides toys, in the bath he hides them under the mat. The other day they were doing that and she was starting to get sick of it but he hid one more while looking at Claire. She was wagging her little "no-no" finger at him.

She loves to point to her eye and say "eyes". She also says "hi's" for hi and bye and waves. She knows her head, nose, mouth and toes and I suspect she knows more but just doesn't point to them.

Nursing a toddler is so much fun :) Seriously! I really do love it, and the creative ways Claire likes to nurse and how much she loves it. When I get undressed she stops whatever she's doing, squeals this high pitched scream and runs to me. Even if she just nursed 5 minutes before. So sweet.

She likes to sit inside things and play
A few weeks ago Claire started gagging herself until she threw up. A lot. She seemed to do it for attention, especially if we walked away from her. Luckily, it's subsided though she still occasionally thinks about it. That same week she got roseola, stopped eating for a few days (since she was sick), threw up in our bed (again, sick), and pooped in the bathtub (once again, I think because she was sick). She also got tooth #5. It was a rough week for all of us!
Her fourth of July outfit. She loves wearing sunglasses. We didn't do anything at all for the holiday. We could hear the fireworks outside and didn't even look out the window! Maybe next year.

Claire can sign all done, eat, water, dog, and nurse. She can say a ton of things; she's a little parrot. She loves to copy us; we can get her to nod, shake her head, move her tongue side to side, and wave among other things. We also having screaming contests which are pretty fun. She has also recently started saying "Oh Brie" which is pretty funny. Claire loves to watch videos of herself or her cousins and she cries when I turn them off or put the camera away.

Claire is very protective of her parents! If I hurt Hyrum (I shoved a carton of milk into his stomach the other day) Claire scrunches up her face and makes a whiny noise. It's her way of saying she doesn't like what's going on. Yesterday, Hyrum was tickling me and I was protesting loudly. Claire came over with her scrunchy face, moved his arms, and lay down on top of my body. She also is not a fan of him showing me affection. She feels the need to show him that I am HER mama!
