Hyrum's brother Jay and his girlfriend Kassie came to visit us this weekend from Idaho. Saturday, Kassie I went to fabric stores, and while we were gone, the boys set this up for us. We walked in and found a candlelit dinner (steak, lobster tails, corn on the cob, broccoli, and the best mashed potatoes ever, with some sparkling grape juice of course), some big stuffed animals (mine looks like Alf), roses and chocolate. We had lemon and raspberry sorbets for dessert. My sweet husband made sure everything on my plate was safe (dairy, soy, nut free). It was amazing!
Our little V-day gifts for Claire. Her own little teddy bear that sat on her highchair when we discovered our dinner, a new little headband Kassie and I made after our shopping excursions, and some flannel hearts that she loves to chew on (the first time I've made hearts, so they're a little off, but she doesn't seem to care).
