Granddaddy's 60th

My dad turned 60 a few months ago, so the five kids decided he needed a cool b-day present. We paid for him to fly out here and attend the Sundance Film Festival. Since I don't live too far from it, he stayed with us and his mom came to spend a few nights with us as well. The festival just ended, so he just got his present! It was fun having him and Gramma here!

Claire didn't take too long to warm up

Dad's present to himself was the chance to go bobsledding! We got up to Olympic Park a little early so we checked out the museum first.

The view from the top of the bobsled run
We ended up waiting a lot longer than we expected, but Claire had so much fun crawling all over the place smiling at tons of strangers! I couldn't believe how social she was being (though I guess no one touched her, maybe she would have freaked out then) and it was so cute watching her play.
It was too cold for Gramma outside, so this is where she watched what little action we could see
Claire and I bundled up to take pictures
Dad ready to go
There were three other people, plus the "driver" or whatever you call him

He said it was awesome!

Their last day, we decided to get a 4 gen picture. We tried a few spots, I guess my house isn't that great for pictures!

Happy birthday Dad! Hope you loved it!
