Claire is now in mostly 2T stuff, and her hair is getting so long! I can hardly take any pictures of her because she LOVES the camera and just wants to watch videos of herself. I am able to snap a few here and there though.
Long enough for pigtails! Now, if she would just leave them in.
Claire is doing great with the potty. Our goal right now isn't to have her potty trained any time soon, but to help her become more aware of everything and keep her little bum free of rashes (all this naked time really helps). One day a couple weeks ago, I asked if she wanted to pee in the potty or for me to put a diaper on her. She jumped up, flew to the potty, and peed. It was so funny. After she's done, she stands up and says "YAY!" and claps, and points at her pee. She's just become aware of when she needs to poop, and if she isn't wearing a diaper, she will start crying, yelling "Uh Oh!" and running for me. It's pretty nice since she had been pooping in the tub frequently and now I can get her out in time (washing all those tub toys is a PAIN!). I usually have to remind her by asking her to sit down, put her on it or ask her to show her baby/teddy how too pee pee, but she sometimes does it totally on her own. Babylegs come in very handy, good thing we have a ton!
I love this "Going to the Beach" look
Oh, she adores her babies. And her favorite colors are pink and purple, she can even say purple. It sounds like "puh-poe", and she does the sign for red. I'm not even going to try to list all the words she can say. A few of my favorites though, are "olives" (her favorite food), "cheese", and "whee" (when she spins in a circle).

We let Claire watch little videos on youtube sometimes, like this one. She was totally rocking out seconds before I took the video, you got her tuned down version. We just started a kindermusik class with her and she loves it. We listen to kids cds now all day long. She'll point to the cd player and start dancing when she wants us to play music.

Love it all. There seems to be something off, though, in the way they are posted. Some of the videos hide the text. The last one hid the comment button. But besides that this post and the sweet happy girl in them were both PERFECT!! I love her and miss her!!

Oh my gosh, Claire and Halle are destined to be best friends! Too bad you guys don't live closer! Halle loves that book and that video! Claire is sooo cute!!!
Claire is such a beautiful little girl! I wish she and Lainy could play... there are so boys down here and not enough girls!! We miss yhou guys!
