We had so much fun spending time in Cali at momo's house. We even got to see Kelli while we were there. Hyrum had to take his PE (professional engineer) test in SF, so we decided to make it a family trip and Claire and I went out a week earlier. I loved getting to see lots of friends and having so many people meet Claire. While we were there, I left her for the first time ever! I put her to bed, and left her with Hyrum while mom and I went to a girl's movie night. I was only gone for about 3 hours, but I didn't like being away! She was fine, of course, and only woke up once and went right back to sleep.

When we picked Hy up from the airport, Claire went from crying to smiling and laughing. It was so sweet. She also liked licking him, maybe to make sure it was really her dad?

It is irrationally difficult, isn't it? I mean, as rational, sane human beings we should be beyond this, right? Not even close.

Love this post too. I love the licking the arm and playing with Hy's beard pictures and her cuter than cute smiles. She often looks like she'll burst from happiness.
I LOVE how happy she is with her daddy....so adorable!!! LOL at what Sean said...oh so true though!
