I had my second appt last week and I am officially in the second trimester! The nausea is gone and I'm feeling pretty good. I'm still measuring right on track with my fundus about half way to my belly button. And while I've gained more weight than I care to admit, I'm been able to wear my regular pants just fine, though I usually put on pajamas after dinner. It seems my stomach has run out of room in my abdomen so by the end of the day it needs to go somewhere, and out is the only option. But today was the first day that I've had to unbutton them for the entire day, so I guess it's time to go buy maternity clothes! Any favorite places? I hear Old Navy is good.

A couple of weeks ago, one of my friends and one of Hyrum's friends called us on the same day to ask if we had a crib. Turns out they had both seen the same deal, and when we went to check it out, the crib was 60% off (already a great deal) for just the hour Aundi and I happened to be there! Whoohoo! So, we got a brand new 4-in-1 crib with so scratches or anything for under $100. The store is kind of a scratch and dent type place, but there was nothing at all wrong with the particular crib we got (a lot of them had scratches or other issues). It's a lot darker than the picture, just think that dark cherry color.

One thing people have been asking is if I have had any cravings (especially weird). I really haven't had anything consistent, just a lot of food aversions in the first trimester, but one night I ate a 24 ounce jar of pickles for dinner. I finished it off with a big bowl of breyers vanilla ice cream. I realized afterwards what I'd just done. So do pickles and ice cream count as a weird craving? I've been having a really hard time with meat, so I guess we'll see if DB turns out to be a little vegetarian. Fighting for animal rights already.

Very cute crib. You guys are SUCH shoppers. Your belly hasn't changed much in the last 7 weeks. I'm not surprised that you've been able to wear your normal clothes up til now. I'll look around for maternity clothes out here.

It's exciting that you guys already have your crib! It's cute! And that's funny about the pickles and ice cream. Target has some decent maternity clothes. Our Old Navy doesn't have them, so that wasn't an option for me, but I've heard that is definitely a good place to look.

CUTE crib, and cute little belly! I got a ton of maternity stuff online from Old Navy and then just took back what didn't fit to the store. I bet they have great sales right now at Christmas time. I'm glad you are feeling better! I can't wait to see yo guys!!!! Oh, I could NOT eat steak when i was pregnant with Ella...the smell, the look, the texture, everything made me gag...the WHOLE pregnancy and now I don't really care for it. I can eat it, but it's just kinda blah. Pickles and ice cream, LOL!!!!
